Going Out with Joy and Peace

Isaiah 55:12

You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

God’s plan for us is filled with joy and peace. That does not mean that we won’t have to go through storms or trials to get to our destination, but the result will be worth the journey. He is taking us to a good place, but we may have to encounter difficulty along the way. He is with us, however, through the difficulty and will bring us to a place where we are so excited that the mountains and hills will seem to break into singing before us as we enter the new territory He specifically designed just for us – our promised land; our inheritance.

Meditate for a moment on Romans 8:18-19

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us. For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God’s sons to be revealed.

The mountains and the hills are waiting for God to reveal you to them. The trees of the field are anxiously awaiting your arrival and will burst forth into a thunder of applause when God presents you to them. The sufferings of this present time will pass, and God will reveal His glory in you. He is working something in you that others need to see because it has ministry for them.

You may very well be asking yourself the question, “What is God’s plan for my life?” Know for certain that He intends for you to go out with joy and be peacefully guided. Creation is eagerly awaiting with anticipation for God to reveal His glory in you. What He invests in you through the struggle is designed to change the world around you, and the fight you’re in now will help you keep and maintain the blessing He’s planned for you. Your day of joy and peace is coming. Carry on!

Have a blessed day!
