A Life of Passion and Purpose
Ephesians 1:1-12
We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will, so that we who had already put our hope in the Messiah might bring praise to His glory.
Just as Christ came into this world with a purpose, so God has predestined a purpose into the lives of those who put their hope in Jesus Christ as God’s Messiah. Christ has a glorious inheritance in God’s kingdom, and so do we. We were predestined with the purpose of bringing God glory, and that is what we will do.
Regardless of what trials have hit you or what tragedies or losses you may have faced, God knew these times would come. While they may be painful, confusing, and frustrating, they are a part of God’s plan to take you into the destiny He has planned for you. You are not where you are by accident; God is with you, and He is working everything out for your good and His glory because that is your inheritance in Jesus Christ.
If life seems difficult, confusing, or even unbearable, ask God to give you a sense of His purpose for you. Pray for the ability to look from His perspective and see just what your life could be from a different angle. What gifts has He given you? What influence has He granted you? What has He placed in your hands? These are all signs of His calling and purpose for you. What has God placed in your heart to do? What would you do if time and money were not an option? These things are indicators of the passion He has placed inside you, and you should begin taking steps to achieve them, even if they seem small. Living life from the God-given passions of your heart for His designed purpose is the happiest life of all, and it takes faith to walk in it. Ask God to increase your faith to live a life of passion and purpose that will bring Him glory. For this reason, dear Sister, you were created, and your greatest joy will be found in living the life you were created to live.
Have a blessed day!
