By Faith into this Grace

Romans 5:2

Also through Him, we have obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

We have access to the grace of God by faith, and that gives us reason to rejoice. This grace is not for our eternal destiny alone. When we don’t quite measure up to some preconceived standard, we need grace. When we fail miserably but still need the blessing, we need grace. When life has thrown us back for a loop and we need to move forward, we need grace. We don’t earn this grace; we simply receive it by faith – not because of anything we have done, but because of what Christ did for us.

Rejoice in what Christ did for you today, and look for signs of grace all around you. No doubt, you will find many things you don’t deserve, but God provided it for you anyway. Walk in His grace, and extend grace where you can. Through grace God’s glory is revealed.
